We, Beech Grove Business Services
will endeavour to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant:
- Members of the Armed Forces Community should not face disadvantages arising from their service in the provision of public and commercial services
- In some circumstances special provision may be justified, especially for those who have given the most, such as the injured or bereaved.
Demonstrating our Commitment
We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant by:
- Operating and clearly identifying Beech Grove Business Services as ‘Forces Friendly’ in our web page information and by displaying the Armed Forces Covenant Logo on our website and on any marketing literature.
- Offering generous discounts on our services to businesses run by service veterans, reservists, and their families via the Defence Discount Service.
- Making annual donations to service charities (Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes, SSAFA).
- Ensuring that no Armed Forces Veterans or reservists will be disadvantaged when using our services.
- Promoting the Armed Forces by sharing their official posts and publicity statements on our LinkedIn and Social media channels.
- Committing volunteering hours to the Commonwealth War Graves Commission speakers programme, and ‘Eyes On, Hands On’ project, monitoring and maintaining the war graves of fallen Service men and Women.
- Offering free Health & Safety and business Consultancy services to the UK cadet movement.
- Promoting Armed Forces Day on our LinkedIn and Social media channels.
We will publicise these commitments through our literature and/or on our website,
setting out how we will seek to honour them and inviting feedback from the Armed
Forces Community and our customers on how we are doing.
